Produced during the late 1960s and early 1970s, these two vases perfectly illustrate Emil Funke's distinctive artistic language, characterised by bold geometric relief decoration and strong architectural forms. Although belonging to different models, both pieces share the same Brutalist aesthetic and textured surface treatment for which Emil Funke became internationally recognised.
