This is a genuine complete skeleton of a pterosaur (Darwinopterus modularis) in museum quality. This pterosaur has been well fossilized with its eye socket and even its sclerotic ring are presented.

Usually the hollow bones of pterosaur would make the skeleton looks only two dimensionally and flat. However, this pterosaur skeleton is very special because its skeleton is quite 3 dimensional, as shown in the photos. May be an experienced fossil preparator can extract the bones from matrix and make it totally 3 dimensional !

This specimen has been prepared and restored by professionals with ZERO restoration, only cracks on slab are rejoined and restored, also reinforcement is done to the back of the slab by professionals, to make sure that this specimen would stand the long display time at home or inside a museum. This is a 'must have' item for museum or serious fossil collector.
