Monke - - Trompete - Deutschland - 1960 (Ohne mindestpreis)

Up for auction today is a Vintage Wilhelm Monke Rotary Trumpet handcrafted in Cologne, Germany. Wilhelm Monke was a renowned brass instrument maker based in Cologne. As the son of Josef Monke, the founder of the famous Cologne instrument manufacturing dynasty, Wilhelm initially worked in the family business before ultimately establishing his own independent workshop. The traditional "Cologne model" rotary trumpets associated with the Monke tradition are known for being heavier and producing a rich, dark orchestral sound. They are highly regarded for classical and romantic repertoire, offering a warmer tone and a tapered attack compared to traditional piston valves. Instruments carrying the Wilhelm Monke (Wilh. Monke) stamp are well-documented in museum collections, including the National Music Museum! Condition: The trumpet is in good overall condition considering its age with clear signs of previous use including some dings. This is a wonderful instrument for sure that would make a great addition for an advanced player and/or collector, so don't miss out! Included: A hard case and an original mouthpiece are included. Shipment: The lot will be carefully packaged and shipped by Deutsche Post (DHL) with tracking. This item is being sold as-is as pictured, so please take a look at the photos carefully as they are part of the description. Check out my other auctions and feel free to add me to your saved sellers list so that you don't miss out on any great instruments being made available! Thank you for looking and Happy Bidding!!!
