The obverse shows the portrait of Benjamin Franklin at centre, blue Treasury seal at right, Federal Reserve district seal at left, denomination “ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS” and the inscription “THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”. The reverse shows the allegorical composition with figures representing labor, plenty, America, peace and commerce, with green ornamental frame and denomination numerals “100”. The visible serial number is A79193B, printed twice, with district designation 2-B. The issuing bank is New York, and the visible signatures are John Burke, Treasurer of the United States, and W. G. The note shows extensive folds and creases, strong central vertical wear, soiling, age toning, soft paper, edge wear, small tears, fold splits, rounded corners and possible old repairs or reinforcement visible from the images.
