Kutani-Ware Sake-Set von Gyokuhō – handbemaltes Tokkuri- und Guinomi-Set mit signierter Holzbox - Japan - 20. Jahrhundert
A beautiful and vibrant Kutani Ware sake set (酒器揃) created by Gyokuhō (玉峰), one of the distinguished artists working in the rich tradition of Japanese Kutani porcelain.
This complete set consists of two tokkuri (sake flasks) and five matching guinomi cups, all decorated with an elegant hand-painted floral design. The striking composition combines vivid yellow, deep cobalt blue, green foliage, and soft purple blossoms, showcasing the bold color palette and intricate overglaze enameling for which Kutani Ware is internationally renowned.
The flasks feature an attractive double-gourd-inspired silhouette with vertically ribbed necks, while the hexagonal cups complement the overall design beautifully. The underside bears the Kutani artist's mark, and the original signed wooden presentation box is included.
An excellent addition for collectors of Japanese ceramics, tea and sake utensils, or admirers of traditional Kutani craftsmanship. The set is equally suitable for display and practical use.
