Item Description This is a Kutani ware (九谷焼) vase by Hakuhō (博峰), a compact, rounded form with a wide platinum/silver-leaf crackle glaze across the upper body, transitioning into a soft green gradation toward the base, giving the piece an elegant, refined presence. The crackled metallic-leaf surface catches the light with a frosted, almost lunar texture, while the small flared mouth and slightly recessed foot ring provide a clean, understated silhouette. The base is inscribed in underglaze red with the mark "九谷博峰" (Kutani Hakuhō). No box is included. This piece reflects a more contemporary, restrained approach to Kutani ware, favoring a subtle metallic crackle glaze and tonal gradation over the more famous bold, colorful enamel decoration historically associated with the tradition.
