Phyliss May Morgans (1911-2001) - Transport, Eze, Provence.

I am offering for auction a superb 20th century oil on canvas titled Transport, Eze, Provence, by listed artist Phylis May Morgans, 1911-2001. Signed bottom right. Condition of the painting is good. Please view all pics for accurate condition. Ready to hang. Phyllis painted in oils and sold many of her paintings at Bourton-on-the-Water in the Cotswolds. She exhibited at the Royal Society of Marine Artists and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and held a considerable number of solo shows and many of her works have been reproduced, several in the 'Laing' calendars. Phyllis May Morgans lived and worked at The Green, Walberswick, Suffolk from 1971 and departed for Spain in 1989 but she died at Ipswich on 12 May 2001. Her work is well represented in both private and public collections, including that of the Library of Congress, Washington D.C. Her daughter Helen Morgans (born 1937) is a well-known Colchester, Essex based artist who exhibited at the 'Visions of Sudbury' at St Peter's Church in 2009 an acrylic 'Summertime, Market Hill' and is a member of Dedham Art Society. Please note. Due to the fragile nature of old frames and glass, our shippers do not provide insurance for any damage caused during transit. We go to great lengths to ensure each painting is packed and protected to a very high standard but sadly cannot compensate or refund for any damage occurring to frames or glass during transit. Therefore the frame and any glass is a gift to you with zero value and you are bidding on the artwork only. Due to Brexit, there are delays at EU customs borders though the situation is improving. Please do not blame me for delays or any customs duty payable. I really appreciate your understanding and patience. Steve.
