This is the Osaka Tin Toy Institute (OTTI) Star Wars Storm Trooper Wind-up Bipedal Tin Toy is one of the most desirable modern Japanese tin toys. Although produced in the late 1990s (around 1998) rather than during the original Star Wars era, it was manufactured in relatively small numbers and is highly sought after by both Star Wars and Japanese tin toy collectors. It stands about 9.8 inches (25 cm) tall and walks using a wind-up mechanism(bipedal). Item is used, complete, working and boxed. The inclusion of the original winding key, collector ID card, postcard, and instruction booklet significantly strengthens this example. Sealed blaster seems missing or behind the insert in the box(not sure). Many surviving Osaka Tin Toy Institute Storm Trooper toys are missing at least one of these accessories, this set belongs in the upper tier of examples likely to appear at auction because of its condition.
