Hand-signed and numbered. ◉ Authenticated by a holographic seal of authenticity on the included certificate card. ◉ Made on acid-free Hahnemühle rice paper for Sumi-e (Japanese for “black ink”) – guarantees archival standards. ◉ Limited and authorized, with registration ID corresponding to the artist’s official catalogue. Artist and designer Æ (Bachelor’s degree in Digital Design and Multimedia Technologies, Barcelona, 2004 + Bachelor’s Degree in East Asian Studies). He always felt his medium of choice would be digital, and he has been creating and experimenting since an early age with 1980s computer graphics, developing his own aesthetics and style influenced by minimalism, conceptual art, Japanese visual culture and skateboard graphics. His artworks are held in private collections in more than 30 countries around the world, from The Netherlands, Belgium and Italy to Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Collectors appreciate the uniqueness of Æ’s distinctive style. Æ’s artwork is characterized by its bold monochrome compositions, limited palette and striking graphic contrasts. In this diptych, the iconic robotic personas of Daft Punk are reimagined through the visual language of Japanese underground magazines, vintage manga covers and cyberpunk design. Layered typography, retro electronic motifs, psychedelic optical patterns and distressed textures celebrate the duo’s timeless fusion of human emotion and machine precision. Referencing albums such as Homework, Discovery, Human After All and Random Access Memories, the compositions evoke the evolution of electronic music while presenting the works as collectible fragments from an imagined retro-futuristic archive. The artist was the subject of a review by respected exhibition art curator Thierry Fournier (Artnoises). “Collected Æ (XX), it comes down to wanting, breaking, transgressing, an invisible border, to merging the civilizational DNA of the future and the past, looking down and in the same second, rocking! The work becomes a ticket, a simple ‘go!’ for an emotional teleportation that we live and see in ‘Black and White’! Æ2381 pushes you to jump into a void, in fact, populated with images, symbols, unexplored signs that propels us to a Real Timeless!” — T. Fournier (Artnoises) ★★★★★ * All pictures are visually as accurate as possible. There may be slight variations in colours due to differences in lighting and monitors. ** Immediate shipping after payment with appropriate insurance. Do not hesitate to contact me for follow-up information. *** The frame present in the presentation photo is only an example of presentation and inspiration for framing. Grouping is possible for the purchase of several artworks to limit shipping costs. We are PRO and TOP sellers. Bid with confidence with 100% positive feedback. We take extra care with the packaging and the extras included in this lot. #daftpunk #electronicmusic #retrofuturism #cyberpunk #japanesedesign #mangaart #mixedmedia #collectible #discovery #randomaccessmemories
