The ageing process occurrs in big oak vats before bottling, in the second year after the harvest. It’s a distinct Vintage which anticipates an ageing in bottle of superb quality. Deep and intense dark ruby colour with violet reflections. Opaque at the core, displaying remarkable youthfulness, concentration and ageing potential. Expressive and complex nose, opening with generous aromas of strawberry preserve and ripe red fruits. It gradually unfolds into elegant floral notes of violet, layered with hints of dark chocolate and damp forest floor, recalling dried leaves, moss and wild vegetation. On the palate is broad, silky and engaging on entry, revealing concentrated ripe fruit. The tannic structure is firm and well-defined, providing depth and balance throughout. Flavours of red fruit preserve intertwine with cocoa notes and subtle earthy nuances, creating a wine of complexity and character.
