Description: A ceramic chawan with a softly irregular profile and a gently undulating rim, decorated in Mishima style. Repeated floral motifs cover much of the exterior and continue around the inner wall beneath a pale grey-white glaze with warm brown and darker tonal variation. The rounded bowl is raised on a compact foot ring, giving the piece a balanced tea-bowl form. An impressed maker’s mark is present on the underside. The bowl is accompanied by a signed wooden tomobako, inscribed “三島手 茶碗” (Mishima-style Tea Bowl) and “与し三造” (made by Yoshizo).
