Description: A set of three silk fukuro obi with rokutsū-gara decoration, each featuring elaborate woven patterns with metallic accents. Obi 1 – Saga-nishiki Fukuro Obi A Saga-nishiki fukuro obi with maki-e design and gold and silver threads. The pale ivory ground is arranged with screen-like angular divisions, within and around which floral motifs, flowing water and landscape elements are woven in soft blue-green, muted red and purple tones. Extensive metallic weaving adds a rich gold and silver effect throughout. Silk, without an inner stiffening core. Obi 2 – Hikihaku Saga-nishiki Fukuro Obi A Saga-nishiki obi with hikihaku foil weaving, decorated with overlapping shikishi-shaped panels, fence and floral motifs. The composition combines pale green, coral-pink and cream tones with gold decoration. Pure gold leaf and silk foil are used in the woven design. Silk, unfinished, without an inner stiffening core. Obi 3 – Karaori Fukuro Obi with Daisy and Fan Motifs A karaori fukuro obi decorated with daisies and scattered fan motifs, with maki-e design and gold-thread accents. The soft pink ground is arranged with open fan shapes and multicoloured floral decoration. Silk, without an inner stiffening core.
