Hollóháza – László Jurcsák – “Női fejek / Ladies” – Set of Three Porcelain Vases – Hungary Elegant and highly decorative set of three porcelain vases produced by the renowned Hollóháza Porcelain Manufactory, Hungary, founded in 1831. The vases belong to the “Női fejek” (“Ladies”) collection, featuring distinctive black-and-white graphic portraits of women combined with geometric Art Nouveau-inspired ornamentation, a deep glossy black ground and elegant gold-coloured detailing. The decoration was created after graphics designed by the Hungarian artist László Jurcsák, who was associated with the artistic circle of Endre Szász at Hollóháza. The characteristic Jurcsák signature can be seen within the decoration. The set consists of: * 1 large vase – approx. 24 cm high * 2 matching small vases – approx. 10 cm high each All three pieces bear the Hollóháza Hungary 1831 factory mark and production/model numbers on the underside. Please note that 1831 refers to the historical foundation of the manufactory and is not the production date of the vases. Condition The three vases are in very good overall condition, with well-preserved glossy surfaces, decoration and gilding. The large vase has a small original factory imperfection in the glaze. It is very difficult to notice during normal display and does not detract from the overall appearance of the piece.
