Omega Constellation Chronometer Automatic Pie Pan – Ref. 14902 SC-61 – Cal. 561 – 1962 – Stainless Steel
For sale is a beautiful vintage Omega Constellation Chronometer, reference 14902 SC-61, dating from approximately 1962 and powered by the highly regarded automatic Omega calibre 561.
This is a particularly elegant all-steel configuration, combining a stainless-steel case with an original silver-toned dial and steel-tone details. The monochromatic silver-and-steel appearance gives the watch a very refined, balanced and timeless character. On the wrist, the entire combination works exceptionally well and gives the watch a clean, sophisticated presence.
The dial is original and has not been refinished. It shows light natural patina in several areas together with a few fine surface marks and scratches, all consistent with age. These imperfections are relatively discreet and do not detract from the overall appearance of the watch. In normal wear, the dial still presents beautifully and retains the attractive vintage character collectors appreciate.
The applied hour markers, Omega emblem, dauphine-style hands, framed date window and elegant “Constellation” script create the classic early-1960s Constellation look.
