Tue Poulsen Ceramic Tile Coffee Table for Haslev, Denmark, 1960s

Rare Danish Mid-Century coffee table designed by Tue Poulsen and produced by Haslev Møbelsnedkeri in the 1960s.

The table features a solid teak frame with four rounded legs and a striking inset ceramic tile composition by Poulsen. The handmade tiles form an abstract arrangement of circular, radiating motifs in earthy shades of brown, ochre, olive, beige and charcoal. The combination of warm teak and highly textured ceramics gives the piece a particularly sculptural character.
