This piece is a cast bronze tiger ornament produced by the famous Japanese metalworker Kobayashi Shōmin at Shang Gong Rong. Kobayashi Shōmin was an important metalworking master during the Showa period and was proficient in the lost-wax copper casting process. The whole body of the bell is engraved with relief carvings replicating the traditional Taotie animal face pattern and lacquered breast nail decoration. There are three-dimensional flying tiger-shaped door edges on both sides, and a handle button is set on the top, which completely restores the shape of the ancient bronze bell. The utensils are made of lost-wax copper, and the surface is colored with green patina. The complete set includes the original box, certificate, and a complete set of accessories. The cast copper ornaments are in good overall condition, and the decoration is complete and clear; the bell body has no knocks or cracks; the paulownia wood box has slight wear and tear caused by storage.
