Vase - hochgebrannter Porzellankörper - Südkorea - Celadon Maebyeong - Shin Geun‑su (申根洙 / 신근수) - Un‑rin Kiln (芸林陶窯 / 운림도요) (Ohne mindestpreis)

Name: Korean Goryeo‑Style Celadon Maebyeong, Hand‑painted Crane‑and‑Cloud Pattern, Un‑rin Kiln Artist: Shin Geun‑su (申根洙 / 신근수) Kiln: Un‑rin Kiln (芸林陶窯 / 운림도요) Craft: Crackled celadon glaze, underglaze hand‑painted cranes, clouds and scroll border motifs Mark: Ink mark “Un‑rin” with seal on base Dimensions: approx. H 32.2 × Max. Dia. 18.5 cm (H 12.7 × Max. Dia. 7.3 in) Weight: 1602 g (3.53 lbs) Material: High‑fired porcelain body Tomobako Dimensions: H 36 × W 22 × D 21.5 cm (H 14.2 × W 8.7 × D 8.5 in) Period: c.1980‑1990 Included: Wooden tomobako (共箱), storage cloth This elegant celadon maebyeong was created by Korean artist Shin Geun‑su (申根洙 / 신근수) of Un‑rin Kiln (芸林陶窯 / 운림도요). It is a fine Korean‑style flower vessel suitable for display, flower arrangement and collection. Covered with soft celadon glaze, the whole surface features fine natural ice‑crackle crazing. Cranes and clouds are hand‑painted under the glaze in gentle, flowing brushwork. Following the classic Maebyeong form: small mouth, full shoulder, tapering body and well‑finished foot, with scroll‑pattern borders decorating the shoulder and foot. Hand‑thrown and hand‑painted, it retains natural variations inherent to handmade craft, embodying the charm of classic Korean ceramics. The base bears ink mark “Un‑rin” and red seal. It comes with original wooden tomobako and storage cloth. The inner lid carries the artist’s hand‑written inscription and seal; the outer lid is inscribed “Kanreki, Mataba Masakazu”, recording that this piece was made for the 60‑year‑old birthday celebration of Japanese collector Mataba Masakazu, documenting its provenance. Age‑related slight natural oxidation appears on the glaze, which is consistent with its age. No chips or repairs. The wooden tomobako shows old oxidation and dust accumulation from storage. Overall condition good relative to its age.
