Chinese thick pale-white nephrite jade pendant, marked –China- second half 20th Century

On offer is a real top-quality thick white rectangular nephrite jade pendant with carvings on both sides and marked on the side. This pendant is made of homogenous untreated white nephrite jade. At the front side this pendant has a subtle carved depiction of 3 Chinese pavilions at a shore with pine tree. At the other side it has an Archaic depiction of a mythical Chinese creature with next to it a 2-character mark. At the side is a small artist mark. All very visible on the pictures. This thick white nephrite jade pendant has been identified as nephrite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency.
