After his studies of History&Geography at LaSapienzaUniversity ofRome and of direction, he attended the 3years master at the Roman School of Photography where he graduated in 2002. He worked forL’Espresso and National Geographic magazines, Corbis and Gamma agencies. Since 2012 he has been distributed by theLUZAgency.He has produced several reportages in Italy, Middle East, India, South East Asia and also in the European capitals. However, he has mainly focused his interest in Eastern Europe, traveling extensively since 2002. One of the last works concerns a long-term project about the Danube river, which in 2013 became a book and a traveling exhibition. In addition to his personal projects, commercial and editorial assignments, Bulgarelli is a teacher of photography and a member of the International federation of journalists.
