What makes this release so special is that the whisky was blended on site (“Specially blended by”) by a participant in this prestigious tour. Bottles of this kind very rarely appear on the open market and are an absolute holy grail for enthusiasts seeking something unavailable in regular shops.

The whisky was blended in Springbank’s laboratory using six different Springbank samples. The base is a 14-year-old Springbank that was matured in a bourbon cask, supplemented with small percentages of the other available cask types.

Condition of the bottle:
The bottle is in absolutely pristine condition. The fill level is exceptionally high in the neck (see photo), the original black J. & A. Mitchell & Co. Ltd. capsule is completely intact, and the purple-and-black tour label has been customised. The label features a handwritten alcohol percentage, and the name of the tour participant has been removed.
