The lamps feature a striking fan-shaped design with beautifully ribbed frosted glass shades, framed by gold-tone metal details. Their geometric silhouette and combination of frosted glass and polished gold finish show clear Art Deco and Hollywood Regency influences, giving the sconces a particularly decorative and sophisticated appearance. When illuminated, the stepped glass softly diffuses the light and creates a warm atmospheric glow. SOME GENERAL INFORMATIONS: Massive was a Belgian lighting company whose history dates back to 1926, when Pieter-Jozef De Jaeck established a small foundry near Antwerp. Over the following decades, the family business developed into one of Europe's major manufacturers and distributors of domestic lighting, with an extensive international presence. Massive later became part of Partners in Lighting International (PLI), which was acquired by Philips in 2007.
