Kebren was an ancient Greek city of the Troad in northwestern Anatolia, occupying a strategic inland position near Mount Ida. It prospered as an independent polis and issued distinctive silver and bronze coinage from the Archaic through Classical periods. During the struggles for control of the Troad it came under Persian and later Macedonian influence, and around 310 BC its population was incorporated into the newly founded city of Antigoneia, later Alexandria Troas.
