It’s a small detail, but it tells you this watch had a specific destination and a specific owner in mind. The movement — serial 10132075, placing production firmly in the early 1940s — runs well. The dial is original, with the kind of honest, uneven patina that only eight decades of existence can produce. No repaints, no interventions. The guilloché sub-seconds register at 6 o’clock remains crisp. Case reference 2400-3 in stainless steel, with correct inner caseback stampings throughout.
