Vase - Porzellan - Japan - Crane Design, Gilt Rim (Ohne mindestpreis)

Item Description This work is a Kutani ware single-stem vase (flower vessel), produced by Shōhō-gama, the kiln brand of Ino Shōhō Co., Ltd., a long-established Kutani ware manufacturer headquartered in Nomi City, Ishikawa Prefecture. The form is an elegant teardrop shape with an elongated neck, covered overall in a rich瑠璃-blue (lapis lazuli) glaze. On the body, two cranes are depicted in soft coloring and gilt, and the crane is a well-known motif in traditional Japanese patterns symbolizing longevity and good fortune. The rim is accented with a gold border, and a gilt kiln mark is found on the reverse of the body. A tomobako (original wooden box) is included, though the box itself shows warping due to long-term storage. This has no effect on the vase itself. Dimensions Height: 25 cm Width: 8 cm Depth: 8 cm Weight 270 g Condition The porcelain body and glaze are in good condition, with no notable chips, cracks, or scratches, and both the lapis-blue glaze and gilt decoration retain a vivid lustre. The accompanying wooden box shows some warping from long-term storage, but this applies to the box only. Additional Information Maker: Shōhō-gama (Ino Shōhō Co., Ltd.), founded in Taishō 8 (1919), Nomi City, Ishikawa Prefecture Materials: Porcelain with overglaze enamel and gilt decoration Included: Tomobako (original wooden box) The item will be carefully packaged and shipped by Japan Post or DHL, depending on the situation. Due to the changes to the EU tax-free (VAT) system, Japan Post has become unable to ship certain goods valued at €150 or less to an increasing number of European countries. Depending on the destination and circumstances, the shipping method may therefore be changed from Japan Post to DHL. Delivery normally takes approximately 3 weeks, or up to 3 months if the item is shipped by sea. Please note that import duties, taxes, customs fees, and other charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. For customs clearance, your local customs office or delivery company may contact you by phone or email. To avoid any delays or the return of the parcel, please ensure that you can respond promptly to any such requests. If the parcel is returned due to an inability to contact you or complete customs clearance, additional shipping charges, which may be more than twice the original shipping cost, will apply for reshipment. Thank you for your kind understanding and cooperation. We will do our utmost to ensure that your item arrives safely and without any issues.
