Set aus 2 Vintage-Herren-Haori-Kimonojacken aus Seide – Atemberaubende Drachen- und Blumenfutter - Seide - Japan - Shōwa Zeit (1926-1989)

**Set of 2 Vintage Japanese Men’s Silk Haori Kimono Jackets – Stunning Dragon & Floral Linings** This lot contains two vintage Japanese men’s silk haori, traditional jackets worn over kimono. Both feature understated woven exteriors paired with distinctive decorative linings: one with an elegant floral arabesque design, and the other with a dramatic dragon among swirling clouds and ocean waves. These contrasting designs express the Japanese appreciation for discreet elegance, with artistic details revealed when the jackets are opened. They can be worn over kimono or paired with contemporary clothing. Although originally made for men, both may be worn by any gender depending on fit and styling, or enjoyed as Japanese textile displays. **1. Haori with floral arabesque lining** The exterior features a fine geometric woven pattern in dark brown, black, and beige tones. The lining combines floral arabesque / karakusa motifs with contrasting rectangular panels, creating an elegant decorative composition. **Approximate measurements:** - Length: 99 cm, measured from shoulder to hem - Yuki: 66 cm, measured from the centre back of the neck across the shoulder to the cuff - Sleeve drop: 50.5 cm, measured from the top to the bottom of the sleeve - Sleeve width: 33 cm, measured horizontally from the sleeve attachment to the cuff - Body width across the back: 61.5 cm **Condition:** Good vintage condition overall. There are minor yarn slubs and slight irregularities in the weave that are original to the fabric, rather than damage from wear. Small stains are also present, but are barely noticeable from a distance. Please refer to the photographs for details. **2. Haori with dragon, cloud, and wave lining** The outer fabric is a refined, very dark green with a subtle woven pattern. Depending on the lighting, it may appear nearly black. The striking silk lining depicts a dramatic dragon surrounded by swirling clouds and powerful ocean waves. Its elaborate imagery contrasts beautifully with the restrained exterior, revealing an expressive work of textile art inside the jacket. **Approximate measurements:** - Length: 96 cm / 37.8 in - Sleeve tip to sleeve tip: 145 cm / 57.1 in - Width across the back: 64 cm / 25.2 in **Condition:** Excellent vintage condition overall, with no noticeable damage or significant signs of wear. It appears to have been worn very little, if at all. There is one faint, small spot on the lining, as shown in the photographs. **Please note** This lot includes two haori jackets only. Hangers and other photographic accessories are not included. All measurements were taken with the garments laid flat and are approximate. Back widths are flat measurements, not circumferences. Please compare the measurements with a similar garment you own, as the two haori differ in size and have no assigned Western sizes. These are vintage garments. Minor wrinkles and subtle signs of age or storage may be present. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description and condition assessment. Colours may vary slightly depending on lighting and screen settings. ■ Shipping and Import Charges Carefully packed and shipped from Japan with tracking via FedEx, EMS, or International Air Packet, depending on the destination and package.
