MULLER FRERES A very rare 1925-1935 French art deco lamp. The base made in solid brass and salmon coloured frosted pressed glass. It holds a handmade fabric lamp shade, it is a new made replacement. The Muller fres Luneville signed glass base represents peacocks. It was made by Muller in uraline glass. Very fashionable in the 30s. It turns bright green once lit by ultraviolet light. Note the matching peacock design of the brass mount. The lamp has a total height of 52,5 cm. The shade is 35 cm wide and the Muller base has a diameter of about 24 cm. The lamp is in excellent condition. It is rewired with nice cloth covered twisted cord. It holds two American standard sockets and comes with a US 2-prong plug.
