The top part is made of 835 silver with detailed openwork wings that can open and close, while the body is made of hand-cut crystal. Together, they create a wonderful combination of fine silver work and sparkling glasswork. The piece is stamped with the Swedish three crowns and "S" for silver, alongside the 835 silver purity mark and a worn maker’s mark. The crystal shows some tiny micro chips, either from the original cutting or developed later, but they are minimal, smooth to the touch, and not distracting.
