Canon EOS D2000 DSLR 1998 PONG GAME - FIRST DIGITAL EOS Digitalkamera

This CANON EOS D2000 from 1998 was the first truly integrated DCS camera between Kodak and Canon. All previous DSLR were Kodak digital backs and Canon SLR optics. R&D advanced over the years and this was the result. Kodak succeeded in delivering a DSLR with own optics and marketed it as the DCS 520 whereas Canon went ahead and marketed it as the (more rare) EOS D2000. This is therefore the very first Canon digital EOS DSLR on the market in 1998 and cost around $15,000(!) The DSLR on the downside has seen it's share of usage. The transparent rubber on top has turned slightly yellow and one rubber connector cover is loose. There is some wear from normal usage. The metal loops where the shoulder strap is mounted have some corrosion. But these are only minor cosmetic issues. On the plus side the DSLR is fully working. Pictures can be taken and reviewed as seen in the photos and best of all, a PONG game is installed in the firmware! Yes, Canon and Kodak implemented PONG into the firmware for reporters and journalists to pass their downtime! The DSLR has Firmware ver. 3.2.3 and a total of only 17,029 actuactions! Which is nothing. On top is some kind of remote flash trigger which I guess is for slave flash strobes. Alltogether you will recveive the folllowing: - Canon EOS D2000 DSLR - Canon shoulder strap - ELPAC 8B5047 Power Supply to feed the camera - 1.0 GB Compact Flash Card in PCMCIA Adaptor - Slave Flash Remote - Firewire Cable - third party working rechargeable battery - SORRY THE LENS IS NOT INCLUDED - Note: The Battery cannot and will not be shipped outside of the EU. Note: The entire set with protective packaging weighs more then 5kg Note: Li-Ion batteries can not and will not be shipped outside of the EU.
