Vom Verkäufer bereitgestellte Beschreibung
Although the musical genius of the Fab Four showed itself right from the beginning, it developed even more over time, resulting in absolute magical music in the end. On offer here are their six last singles, in and exclusive extra-ordinary 1989 re-release: tini tiny 3 inch cd’s. Plus a wonderful book with quotes from all four throughout their career.
No need for further info. You know the songs. Each is packed in a (kind of) gatefold sleeve with the well-known knob-thing in the middle. Not the usual envelop type that always causes scratches. All are in perfect mint condition. Never played, actually. You know these crazy collectors, they just want to have stuff…
The series is numbered CD3R. On offer: All you need is love/Baby you’re a rich man (5620, mono), Hello goodbye/I am the walrus (5655, mono), Get back/Don’t let me down (5777, mono), Ballad of John & Yoko/Old brown shoe (5786, stereo), Something/come together (5814, stereo), Let it be/You know my name (5833).
All are on the Parlophone label, issued in 1989 and, strangely, all made in Austria. You will need an adapter if you really want to play them but hey, undoubtedly you have the songs already, don’t you?
The book is part of a wonderful series ‘In their own word’, made by famous rockwriter Miles for rock publishers Omnibus. He compiles quotes and passagers taken from (legitimate) interviews throughout the years. He divided them in chapters like songwriting, drugs, ther songs, the story.
Omnibus Press, ISBN 86001-540-8, 1978, 1131 pages
