Montegrappa Extra Otto Zebra Limited Edition Fountain Pen (#559 out of 888) Provided with a signed Certificate of Origin, booklet with stamp from the dealer and fabric Montegrappa-branded pouch. Rarely used, received as a present. Made in Italy. Bought in Paris at specialist fountain pen shop in 6th arrondissement. A Limited Edition pen made from true celluloid (the material that is employed in the manufacture of the finest pen) with an original black-and-grey Zebra pattern and with Sterling Sliver trim (0.925). It fills via piston filler and boast the 18K nib (size Medium). The octagonal shape has long been a part of the Italian house’s design language. In 2012, the year of its centenary, Montegrappa revived the use of the eight-sided geometric shape that recurs throughout its designs. Montegrappa’s signature octagonal motif is engraved on the cap’s band. The edition number 559 is carved at the bottom of the pen – see photo for details.
