Elegant silver-plated butter curler by Il Maestri, Italy.
This refined two-part utensil is designed to form perfect curls of butter for elegant table service. The butter is first placed into the perforated form, and by pressing the inner piece upward, small decorative curls are released through the patterned openings.
A practical and charming example of Italian tableware craftsmanship, combining both functionality and sophisticated mid-century design.
The rim and base feature a fine beaded edge, typical of Italian silverwork of the 1950s-1970s.
