Judex - Art Deco - Ohne mindestpreis - Herren - 1900-1949

Judex Art Deco WW1 Officer’s Watch – Black Dial – Rare Collector’s Piece – Circa 1915 ———— NO RESERVE PRICE ———— NOTE: This watch is extremely difficult to photograph due to its deep black dial, which reflects light and conceals its true beauty. In reality, it looks much more impressive in person than the pictures suggest. Offered for auction is an exceptionally rare Judex wristwatch from the WW1 era, estimated to date from around 1915–1920. With its distinctive Art Deco design, bold black dial, and military heritage, this watch represents a true piece of horological and historical significance. The rectangular case measures 28x20mm (without lugs and crown), but the extended lugs give it a larger wrist presence, making it feel and appear significantly bigger on the wrist. The watch features a sub-seconds complication at 6 o’clock, original printed Arabic numerals in excellent condition, and a mechanical hand-wound movement that winds and runs flawlessly despite being over 100 years old. The lug system is unique – the lugs are separate from the main case body, a hallmark of early wristwatches that were adapted from pocket watch movements during the wartime period. This detail is especially appreciated by collectors of early 20th-century military watches. Fitted with a new black leather strap, the watch is ready to be worn or displayed in a collection. Specifications: • Brand: Judex • Period: Circa WW1 – ca. 1915–1920 • Case dimensions: 28x20mm (without crown and lugs) Looks significantly larger on wrist due to long lugs • Dial: Original black dial with sub-seconds at 6 • Movement: Manual wind – works perfectly • Strap: New leather strap (black) • Condition: Excellent aesthetic and mechanical condition for its age • Note: 100+ years old – a genuine antique timepiece with history This is a true collector’s item – rarely found in such preserved condition. It’s not just a watch, it’s a surviving piece of WW1-era craftsmanship, ideal for vintage watch lovers, military collectors, or history enthusiasts. Shipping from Luxembourg via LuxPost with DHL tracking – securely packed and insured. Please check my other auctions for more rare vintage timepieces.
