17th Century Embroidered Velvet Panel – “Agnus Dei” – Gold & Silver Thread – 26 × 24 cm – Rare Beautiful devotional embroidery on deep red velvet, richly worked with gold and silver thread. The central motif shows the Agnus Dei (Lamb of God) inside a decorative circular frame, surrounded by elaborate scrolling foliage. Likely made in Southern Europe, 17th century. Originally part of a liturgical vestment or ecclesiastical textile. Dimensions: approx. 26 × 24 cm Condition: Good and complete for its age. Wear and losses to embroidery and velvet, especially to the central lamb figure and the borders. Some stitching loose on the sides. Please check the photos for a clear impression.
