Deze twee indrukwekkende mangaankleurige aardenwerken dekselvazen horen bij elkaar en zijn elkaars spiegelbeeld. De twee grote vazen zijn gemaakt in 1981 in Gouda door Plateelbakkerij GeWi (gebroeders Nijhuis) en wel door K.J. van Eik, één van de broers. Hij heeft de vazen met de hand gedecoreerd. Deze fabriek was slechts een relatief korte periode actief van 1978 tot 1984 en handgeschilderd aardewerk van hen afkomstig is dus relatief zeldzaam. GeWi is een samentrekking van de voornamen van de broers Gerard en Willem Nijhuis. Ze hadden voor de start van hun eigen bedrijf al ruim ervaring opgedaan bij andere bekende Goudse plateelbakkerijen. GeWi produceerde aardewerk dat sterk overeenkwam met de traditionele Goudse plateelstijl. Vaak met florale of abstracte decoraties die met de hand werden geschilderd onder een glazuurlaag. De vazen zijn ieder 46,5 cm hoog, inclusief de deksel en aan de bovenkant hebben de vazen een diameter van 15 cm. Aan de bovenkant is ter bescherming van de bovenrand papier geplakt. Dit kan desgewenst worden verwijderd. Beide vazen en deksels zijn geheel gaaf en hebben geen chips, haarlijnen of frittings. Ook is het glazuur overal nog volledig in tact. Het gewicht van de ene vaas is 2.030 (inc. deksel) gram en van de andere vaas 1.745 (incl. deksel). Ze zullen zorgvuldig worden verpakt en opgestuurd maar ophalen is ook mogelijk.
