Esta elegante pregadeira é executada em ouro de 18k e prata de lei, apresentando um delicado trabalho rendilhado de inspiração vegetal, típico da joalharia fina de finais do século XIX e início do século XX.

É ornamentada com 31 diamantes, maioritariamente de corte antigo. O diamante central, com cerca de 3 mm, apresenta provavelmente corte europeu antigo ou almofadado, enquanto os restantes — 6 com cerca de 1 mm e 24 de aproximadamente 1 mm — são de corte antigo simples, adequados ao trabalho minucioso da peça.

Pelas suas características estilísticas e técnicas, esta pregadeira tem datação estimada entre cerca de 1890 e 1910.
