Antonio Yera

Justine Otto is een Pools-Duitse schilder, geboren in 1974 in Zabrze en opgeleid aan de Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main. Ze woont en werkt in Hamburg en Frankfurt.

Haar werk beweegt tussen figuratie en abstractie en toont vaak jonge vrouwen of meisjes in raadselachtige, dromerige situaties. Met haar losse penseelvoering, subtiel kleurgebruik en vervreemdende composities onderzoekt ze thema’s als identiteit, kwetsbaarheid en verbeelding.

Otto exposeert internationaal, onder meer in Duitsland, Zwitserland en de VS, en haar werk is opgenomen in publieke en particuliere collecties, waaronder The Phillips Collection in Washington.

Deze aquarel is rechtsonder gesigneerd en gedateerd. Het werk toont een straat met winkels.

Het werk is bij ons in de galerie te bezichtigen. Verder beschikt Art Dumay over een lijstenmakerij (dit jaar hun 85 jarige jubileum) en een restauratieatelier. Dus mocht u hiervan gebruik willen maken dan horen wij het uiteraard graag.
