Engelse Kustwaarschuwingsbarometer ook wel stormbarometer genoemd – 2e helft 19e eeuw,  maker:  Bailey Optician, 14 Bennetts Hill, Birmingham

Deze barometers werden gebruikt in weerstations aan de kust vanwege hun grote nauwkeurigheid, sommige grote rederijen gebruikten deze thermometer ook.
Een nauwkeurige voorspelbare weersverwachting was in die tijd van groot belang, de grote hoeveelheid kwik is noodzakelijk voor de nauwkeurigheid
Voor de fijn afstemming zijn 2 noniussen aanwezig. De thermometer schaal is verzilverd
De thermometer verkeert in een uitstekende werkzame staat, er is een voorzien van een luxe houtsoort (rozen hout ?)  Lengte ca. 1 mtr.
Deze Barometer wordt niet verzonden en dient bij de verkoper te worden opgehaald
