Cet ensemble de table rectangulaire, datant des années 1960, constitue un exemple remarquable d'artisanat textile. Il se compose d'une nappe et de quatre serviettes assorties, réalisées dans un mélange de lin et de coton de haute qualité au grain serré.
L'élément central de cet ensemble est le travail de dentelle au crochet, entièrement réalisé à la main. La nappe présente une couronne centrale composée de rosaces aux motifs floraux stylisés, insérées avec précision dans le tissu. Ce motif est rappelé sur les retombées de la nappe ainsi que sur chacune des quatre serviettes.
Dimensions :
• Nappe : 1,70 m x 1,20 m.
• Serviettes : 35 cm x 35 cm (au nombre de quatre).
L'ensemble est présenté dans un état de conservation exceptionnel, proche du neuf. Le tissu a conservé sa tenue et sa couleur ivoire naturelle sans présenter de taches, de jaunissement ou d'usure sur les broderies. Les bordures de la nappe et des serviettes sont également finies par un liseré au crochet coordonné.
Cette pièce de collection illustre la finesse des trousseaux de maison du milieu du XXe siècle. Elle est idéale pour un usage quotidien raffiné ou pour compléter une collection de textiles anciens.
