Een bijzonder decoratief en verfijnd paar Chinese cloisonné vazen in de klassieke dubbele kalebasvorm (Hulu). De vazen zijn rijk gedecoreerd met fijn emaillewerk in levendige kleuren op een turkooisblauwe achtergrond.

De panelen tonen elegante bloesemtakken met vogels, een traditioneel Chinees motief dat symbool staat voor harmonie, voorspoed en geluk.

De vazen zijn voorzien van prachtige vergulde bronzen draakvormige handvatten en een decoratieve bovenrand. Ze staan op bijpassende gesneden houten sokkels, wat het geheel een statige uitstraling geeft.

Cloisonné is een eeuwenoude techniek waarbij dunne metalen draadjes worden gebruikt om vakjes te creëren die vervolgens met gekleurd emaille worden gevuld en gepolijst. Dit zorgt voor het kenmerkende rijke en glanzende oppervlak.

Deze vazen dateren vermoedelijk uit de eerste helft van de 20e eeuw en vormen een indrukwekkend decoratief paar voor een klassiek of eclectisch interieur.
