Plateel vaas – Gouda Holland – handbeschilderd bloemendecor – 20e eeuw

Een charmante en karaktervolle Gouda plateel vaas, rijkelijk handbeschilderd met een levendig bloemendecor in warme en frisse kleuren. Deze elegante vaas staat op een slanke voet en heeft een sierlijk bolvormig lichaam dat prachtig is gedecoreerd met florale motieven in tinten paars, geel, groen en bruin.

Het object is uitgevoerd in de traditionele Goudse plateeltechniek, een keramische traditie die vanaf het einde van de 19e eeuw internationale bekendheid verwierf. Fabrieken in Gouda ontwikkelden kleurrijk en vaak handgeschilderd aardewerk dat sterk beïnvloed werd door Art Nouveau, Art Deco en later ook meer folkloristische en florale stijlen.

De vaas draagt aan de onderzijde de aanduiding “Plateel Gouda Holland”, wat verwijst naar de rijke keramische traditie van de stad Gouda. In de 20e eeuw produceerden verschillende ateliers en fabrieken in Gouda dit type decoratief aardewerk, vaak volledig met de hand beschilderd waardoor elk stuk uniek is.

Het glazuur vertoont een subtiel craquelé-patroon, een karakteristiek verschijnsel dat vaak voorkomt bij oudere plateelobjecten en bijdraagt aan het authentieke karakter.

De elegante voet en de ronde vorm maken dit stuk bijzonder geschikt als decoratieve vaas, verzamelobject of klassiek interieuraccent.

Een sfeervol verzamelobject dat perfect past in een collectie Gouds plateel, Nederlandse keramiek of decoratief aardewerk.
