03 Collectible Danish Plates ( 1978 / 1980 / 1981 )

Danish Bing & Grøndahl company was the first to produce Christmas plates from 1895 onwards. Then the other Scandinavian companies took the idea, including Royal Copenhagen. Today the festive wall hanging plates are highly collectible.

Old Copenhagen Blue - From Svend Jensen of Denmark.
The Porcelain Factory Desirée started the Christmas plate series
in 1970 and ended it in 2002.
The dishes are produced in limited quantities and production ends at the end of the year with the destruction of the original shape making it so impossible to playback.

All plates are in exelent condition, flawless, with no chips or cracks.
