BMW 2002 Turbo from 1975 in very good condition.

This unit is surely one of the best of the 500 that are estimated to remain in the world of the 1,972 cars manufactured.

The car was originally sold in France and throughout its history it had only three owners. The last owner, who was the one who imported it to Andorra approximately ten years ago, carried out a great restoration.

The car received a new engine and it has only run 2,000 kilometres since its rebuilding, respecting the originality of both the engine and the plate.

It was decided to keep the interior in original condition and, therefore, it shows some normal signs of wear. There is a very small tear in the upholstery of the driver’s seat, as shown in the photos. Even so, considering the condition of the original interior, one can tell that this has been a very well taken care of car.

During the restoration, the originality of the car, as when it left the factory, was respected, with the only exception of the front ‘mirror’ stickers and the central exhaust (originally it was placed on the right side). 

This original car was equipped with MAHLE extras and the five-speed gearbox with the first gear backwards. Also the aluminium rims (a very sought-after extra of the time).

The car has a sliding sunroof which was another possible option for the 2002 Turbo. A computer virus caused part of the dossier of its restoration, with photos and videos, to disappear, but the seller keeps some invoices that will be delivered with the car.
