Straordinario appendiabiti siriano di grandi dimensioni, finemente intarsiato in madreperla, legni pregiati e inserti ebanizzati. Il mobile, proveniente dall’area di Damasco, rappresenta un esempio eccellente dell’artigianato mediorientale di fine Ottocento, caratterizzato da motivi geometrici, archi moreschi e dettagli torniti a mano.

La parte superiore presenta una splendida cimasa traforata con stella centrale in madreperla e legni policromi. La specchiera, originale dell’epoca, è incorniciata da colonne tornite e pannelli intagliati con preziosi inserti a motivi floreali e geometrici. Nella fascia sotto lo specchio è incisa un’iscrizione in arabo:

"الحمد لله رسول الملك"
Traduzione: “Lode a Dio, il Messaggero del Re.”
Il mobile è stato sottoposto a trattamento antitarlo e lucidato, mantenendo la patina originale. Sono presenti alcune piccole mancanze di madreperla e legno, normali per l’età del pezzo, ma non ne compromettono la solidità né il grande impatto decorativo.

Opera di grande fascino e imponenza, ideale per arredare ingressi o ambienti importanti con un tocco di esotismo e storia.
Non si accettano resi per piccole mancanze dovute all’epoca.
