Cruzeiro Seixas (1920–2020) was a Portuguese artist and one of the leading figures of Portuguese and European Surrealism, active from the late 1940s onwards.

This work belongs to a limited edition of 25 copies, with this example numbered XVII/XXV.
The serigraph is hand-signed in pencil, located in the lower margin.

His works are held in major public collections, including the Museu do Chiado, Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, and Fundação Cupertino de Miranda. He died in November 2020.
