Beautiful, hand-decorated Japanese vase made of earthenware/stoneware with a rich relief texture. The vase is decorated with bird and flower motifs, partly inlaid with colored glazes. The surface features a lovely bark-like relief that adds depth to the piece.

The bottom features Japanese characters (marked in blue), indicating a Japanese workshop piece from the 20th century (circa 1950s–1970s). Suitable as a decorative vase or for ikebana.
