Art print, limited edition, hand-numbered 182/750, part of the famous series 'Secret Eden' which includes 16 diptychs (including Eve 3882) and over 80 photographs.
The scene was captured at the heart of the French Communist Party headquarters, Place du Colonel Fabien in Paris, an iconic futuristic building from the 1970s designed by the renowned architect Oscar Niemeyer.

For the diptych Eve 3882, I chose the seat of the Communist Party at Place du Colonel Fabien in Paris. This building by Oscar Niemeyer and its setting, both futuristic and very seventies in style, serve as the backdrop for this story. Afterwards, as with any photographer or filmmaker—work that increasingly resembles mine—the role of light is fundamental in the dramaturgy of images. While Hopper invites us to imagine what happens before and after the scene, I wanted the viewer to be invited to imagine what occurs at the moment when one might say 'action' or 'lights, camera, action'... Everyone is free to let their imagination and fantasy run wild.
