Gojūnotō-zu(五重塔図) - Okano Nobutaka(岡信孝 , 1932-) - Japan (No reserve price)

Work Title: Gojūnotō-zu(五重塔図) Artist: Okano Nobutaka(岡信孝 , 1932-) Technique: Collotype Paper Size: 47 × 36.8 cm (18.5 × 14.5 in) Image Size: 38 × 26.5 cm (15.0 × 10.4 in) Frame Size: 56.2 × 44 × 2 cm (22.1 × 17.3 × 0.8 in) Paper Material: Washi cotton paper(綿紙 ) This beautiful landscape work was created by Japanese artist Okano Nobutaka (岡信孝) in the 1980s–1990s, and is one piece from his limited set of ten works themed on Hakone・Ashinoko (箱根・芦ノ湖). The composition centers on the traditional Japanese structure “Gojūnotō” (五重塔), with gradated Japanese-style mountains as the background and misty vegetation dotted in the foreground—embodying the classic Japanese theme of “traditional architecture + Zen landscape”, and conveying a serene, ethereal wabi-sabi (侘寂) aesthetic. This print comes with a wooden frame and acrylic panel. The frame shows signs of use including chips and scratches. Due to age, the washi cotton paper exhibits slight oxidation-induced yellowing, but the overall condition remains good. - The picture is part of the description. The color of the item may be slightly different from the picture (due to camera and screen settings). - The successful bidder will be responsible for any customs duties and taxes (if applicable). - This item will be mailed by the postal service of Taiwan in the form of airmail with insurance attached.
