Canon FD 70-210mm/F4 Macro is a manual telephoto zoom lens with a medium focal length, specifically designed for Canon SLR cameras with FD bayonet mount and introduced in 1980. This lens is known for its consistent maximum aperture of F4 and sharpness across the entire zoom range. Manual focusing, however, requires precise operation, is sensitive to focusing errors, and can cause vignetting or a softening effect at open aperture. To improve performance, the aperture needs to be stopped down.
