Figural mantel clock - Metal, Brass - 1900-1910
Mechanical Mantel Clock – Neo-Rococo – Late 19th / Early 20th Century
Mechanical mantel clock in the Neo-Rococo style, probably dating from the turn of the 19th and 20th century. Cast metal case with rich sculptural decoration: a standing female figure, floral motifs and an oval relief at the top. Porcelain dial with Roman numerals.
The clock has time function only (no striking or gong). Mechanical movement, wound with a key. The clock is fully working and keeps time. Original winding key included.
No visible maker’s signature or markings. Based on form and construction, it was likely made in France or Germany. Purchased by me at an auction in Sweden.
Condition is good, consistent with age. Visible patina, minor surface wear and traces of oxidation, with no major damage or missing elements. Please refer to the photos for details, as they form part of the description.

Height: 27 cm (approx. 10.6 in)
Width: 24 cm (approx. 9.4 in)
Depth: 8 cm (approx. 3.1 in)
