Description from the seller

Sturdy words of high-quality weaving. The finishing, the richness of color variations, and the diversity of large and detailed symbols suggest that the weaver created this cloth as a demonstration of skill. The use of color gives the cloth a sense of unity and a calm appearance (enlarge the main photo and view it calmly). Ram's horns on the left and right of the central field symbolize male strength and protection. Images of mythological animals (heads) represent a gatekeeper function; to ward off evil and allow good. Several vertical combed stripes stand for the protection of children and family life. The inner edges above and below show hands, another symbol of protection. Furthermore, flowing water along the two side edges and in the borders above and below, directly above the hands. Flowing water signifies fertility of land and livestock. The outer borders contain symbols to ward off the evil eye. These symbols are surrounded by star shapes, representing wishes for prosperity and happiness. A powerful piece for the floor, over the sofa, or on the wall.
